Location

The Annual Conference and General Meeting will be held both in-person and through Teams. The in-person program will be held at the Collège La Cité, Room D3050, in Ottawa (Link to Google Maps Address). Participants are responsible for arranging their accommodation on location and travel to and from the event, including transportation to and from the Ottawa International Airport (YOW).

Participants attending via Team (for the Tuesday morning) will also need to register – a calendar invite will be sent to you.

Registration and Fees

The registration fee for those planning to attend the Annual Conference & General Meeting in-person at Collège La Cité is $375/person.
Farm Management Canada will collect all registration fees.

After registering, you will receive an invoice with different payment options including:

• Paying by cheque: Payable to CADAP c/o Heather Watson 21 Florence St. 2nd Floor, Ottawa, ON K2P 0W6.
• Paying by electronic funds transfer (EFT): Banking information will be provided on the invoice.
• Paying by Interac E-Transfer: Send e-transfer to [email protected].
• Paying by credit card: Contact Camellia Asbreuk [email protected] or 613-323-5855.

Participants will need to cover their own travel costs to/from the meeting venue/accommodations and any meals outside of those covered during the program.

Accommodations

There are several accommodations within a 10-minute drive to Collège La Cité. The recommended hotel for the Conference is the Holiday Inn Ottawa East by IHG, which is about 35 minutes from La Cité on foot.

Alternatively, there are two other options at different price points that are less than 200m from the Holiday Inn:
– the WelcomINNS Ottawa
– the Comfort Inn Ottawa East

Transportation

From the Ottawa international airport (YOW), travel time to La Cité is approximately 20 minutes.

From the Ottawa Train Station (Via Rail, 200 Tremblay Rd.), travel time to La Cité is approximately 10 minutes.

Public transportation by Bus, Light Rail Transit or Taxi is also available for both locations.
