Speakers

Chris Corbett
Senior Channel Manager, Telus Agriculture

Chris grew up on a mixed farm just northwest of Winnipeg, Manitoba which speaks to his love for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Jets. His career in agriculture began at CIBA (now Syngenta) as a territory manager. He then moved into the entrepreneurial space by joining FarmLink Marketing Solutions in 2005. In 2014, FarmLink acquired Farm At Hand, a digital farm record-keeping solution – here, Chris began his journey in the world of data and digitization in agriculture. In 2019, TELUS acquired Farm At Hand as part of the creation of TELUS Agriculture. Chris currently holds the role of Senior Channel Manager, Agriculture at TELUS.

Chris has a Bachelor of Science and Arts from the University of Manitoba and is a member of Canadian Association of Farm Advisors (as well as a former national chair.) He currently resides in Melfort, Saskatchewan with his family, where he enjoys hockey, golf and a little acting and singing.

Robin Anderson
Communications Coordinator, Canadian Agricultural Safety Association

Robin Anderson grew up on a farm in south-central Saskatchewan. The oldest of four children, she developed a passion for farm safety and health at a young age, joining the Saskatchewan Safety Council’s Power Pac Program as a youth ambassador for farm and urban safety. Robin continued her to pursue her passion for farming communities after University, joining the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region as the Farm Safety Coordinator, eventually moving to Health Promotion Coordinator. After two relocations, Robin joined the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association in 2014 in a Communications role. She has continued to work to improve the safety and health of farmers, farm families, farm workers and farming communities through her work at CASA.
