Lorna McKercher resides on a crop farm outside Seaforth, with her husband John, and two children, Caitlin and Finlay. She is actively involved in her local community as a 4H leader, vice president of Seaforth Agricultural Society and active member of Northside United Church.

As National Director Agriculture at RBC, Lorna is responsible to help guide the policy, strategy and marketing to help the Agriculture portfolio within RBC grow and prosper.

Lorna has worked in business finance for over 27 years with a focus on Agriculture and Agri-business. Her experience includes relationship manager, credit analyst, Sr. relationship management, Manager of Financial Specialists, Vice President Agriculture in SWO and then in current role 1.5 years ago.

Lorna grew up in Thorndale. She is a graduate of University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce in Agriculture and holds an MBA in Financial Services from Dalhousie University.

Eric Olson
Farm Management Consultant
MNP LLP

Eric is a Farm Management Consultant with MNP’s Consulting Services team in Winnipeg. Eric helps the owners of all sizes of farm operations, from small to large, make effective business decisions to increase the profitability of their farms and enhance their competitive edge.

With more than 35 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Eric brings a deep understanding of local and international market conditions to his role, which he uses to help producers strategically develop their operations. His services include helping clients with strategic planning, to identify and take action toward achieving long-term goals — as well as business planning to set goals for the next one to three years.

Eric carefully reviews each client’s operations and compares them to industry benchmarks. This provides producers with the information they need to grow their operations effectively and efficiently.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSAg) from the University of Manitoba and was designated a Professional Agrologist (PAg) in 1989.
